In preparation for the Summer grant application cycle, this two-part webinar (June 8 and 22) will focus on writing grants to support programs, capital projects, and operations at nonprofit organizations and businesses. Workshop participants will learn about the basic elements common to foundation, corporate, and government grants. Topics will include: Goals and Objectives; Evaluation; Logic Models; Review of upcoming summer grant applications and deadlines. Attendees will apply these skills by looking closely at a local grant opportunity.

We don't want cost to prevent our members from attending our events. If it is, please ask for a scholarship.
Instructor:
Jason Adkins is the Director of Development for the Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative, an education support agency that serves 15 school districts, over 250 schools, and over 155,000 students. Since 2008, he has raised over $125 million in grants and donations. In 2017, he earned the Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential. He is a past president of the Kentucky chapter of the Grant Professionals Association and helped lead the chapter’s 2019 ReWrite Conference. Jason enjoys training grant writers, fundraisers, and other nonprofit professionals through the Center for Nonprofit Excellence and Grant Writing USA.
