Event Details

CNPE’s virtual Board Chair Learning Circle provides current nonprofit board chairs a unique opportunity to connect during these challenging times. The monthly forum is a space for nonprofit board leaders to come together for peer-to-peer connections and support.

Sessions will enable professional development, explore organizational challenges, discuss relevant topics, build community, and offer the peer support and shared resources that can help you succeed in your role.

This professionally facilitated series consists of five monthly meetings that convene on third Wednesdays from March through August 2021. To maintain an intimate and productive environment, space in each group is limited. After August, the group will be self-sustaining.

Space is limited to ensure maximum engagment.

The sessions will be facilitate by Dr. Bob Taylor. Dr. Bob served as the Dean of the College of Business from 1984 to 2003. He served as a professor of Management until 2012 when he joined the Oliver Group as a Senior Consultant. He retired from the Oliver Group in 2017. Taylor is a board member, Emeritus at CNPE. He also served on the boards of Jewish Hospital Healthcare Corp., Metro United Way, the Venture Club of Louisville, Leadership Kentucky, and the Kentucky Center for Public Issues. Taylor also served for twenty years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He earned his AB from Allegheny College, an MBA from Ohio State University, and DBA from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University.
