Mission Statement
Arts Journalism Trust operates programs that engage youth in learning about and collaborating to produce journalism about the creativity around them which is published and disseminated for wider community engagement. Our programs operate
- to empower youth,
- to reveal more to them about creativity, their communities and themselves,
- to inspire curiosity and compassion,
- to build empathy, conflict resolution, and positive mental health,
- to fortify community knowledge, understanding, and involvement,
- to foster integrity, accountability, and truth,
- and to create connections between youth and the wider citizenry (audiences).
